Discontinuation of Pulmonary Rehabilitation Services
Apr 18, 2025
William Newton Hospital has made the difficult decision to discontinue our pulmonary rehabilitation services, effective May 1, 2025. After careful and thorough consideration, this decision was made to prioritize hospital resources in other patient care areas.
William Newton Hospital deeply values the health and well-being of our community and recognizes the significant benefits the pulmonary rehabilitation program has provided to many individuals. We appreciate the participation and support from the community over the past two years.
Our priority now is to ensure a smooth transition for our current patients. We are committed to working with each individual to explore alternative options for their continued care, which may include referrals to other reputable pulmonary rehabilitation programs nearby, such as Caldwell Regional Medical Center and Ascension Via Christi Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Clinic.
Thank you for your understanding and for allowing William Newton Hospital to be a part of your healthcare journey.
Should you have any questions regarding this announcement, please contact William Newton Hospital Chief Ancillary Officer Amber Seitzinger, MHA, OTR/L, FACHE, at 620-222-6256.
