What are Downtown Doc Walks?
Downtown Doc Walks is a free, community walking program led by a local healthcare provider. Meet-ups take place monthly with a goal to walk one mile. A quick health talk by the walk leader kicks off the event which lasts under an hour. Each month is sponsored by a different Winfield Area Chamber of Commerce business. Walks start at the Chamber office with a stop at the sponsoring business for a healthy snack.
Who are walk leaders?
Local physicians, physician’s assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and more.
How do I join?
No pre-registration is necessary. Simply show up and sign a waiver your first time. After that, all you have to do is check-in before each walk. Be sure to join our email list and/or Facebook group.
