Pharmacy
The pharmacy is staffed with registered pharmacists and certified technicians enabling continuity of quality pharmaceutical care. Pharmacy is primarily responsible for the purchase, storage, control, distribution, and monitoring of medications for hospitalized patients.
Equipped with a complete reference library and computerization, the pharmacists routinely screen for potential drug interactions, duplications of therapy, and appropriate dosing. State-of-the-art automated dispensing stations provide for both medication availability and control throughout the facility.
Qualifications
Our pharmacists are licensed by the State of Kansas to practice Pharmacy and our technicians are certified by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board.
